Sideliners Returns Thursday Night

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Sideliners makes its 2017 debut on Thursday from Hunter’s Ale House in Mount Pleasant, and there is plenty on the docket.

Host Don Chiodo welcomes Central Michigan women’s basketball coach Sue Guevara, men’s assistant coach Kyle Gerdeman, and Chippewa gymnastics coach Jerry Reighard to the show, which begins at 6 p.m.

Also scheduled to join the show are Tinara Moore and Presley Hudson of the women’s basketball team, Cecil Williams of the men’s team, and Katy Clements and Caroline Fitzpatrick of the gymnastics team.

The CMU gymnastics team opens its season on Sunday at McGuirk Arena (1 p.m.). The CMU women’s basketball team plays at home on Saturday (1 p.m.) against defending MAC champion Buffalo, and the men’s team plays on Saturday (4:30 p.m.) at Northern Illinois.

The show will be carried live beginning at 6 p.m. on WUPS-FM 98.5.

There is no admission charge, and an RSVP is not necessary. Fans arriving before 6 p.m. will have the opportunity to interact with coaching staff and student-athletes in an informal setting.
