MOUNT PLEASANT The Central Michigan wrestling program hosts the first of its summer camps beginning this weekend.
Ten-time Mid-American Conference Coach of the Year Tom Borrelli and his staff will conduct two team camps, one individual camp, a youth camp and an intensive training camp over the next three weeks.
CMU’s summer wrestling camps experienced record enrollment last year, and attendance at this summer’s sessions also is expected to be high. Those planning to attend the camps are encouraged to register early.
CMU’s wrestling program has won 10 of the last 11 MAC championships, eight straight MAC Tournament champions and has finished in the top 15 at the NCAA Championships five times in the last six years.
Both the CMU volleyball and soccer programs will host a variety of summer camps beginning in July. Click here for more information on CMU’s summer sports camps offerings, including a complete schedule and registration information.
