MOUNT PLEASANT - Andrew Aguila's 42-yard game-winning field goal at Michigan State has been selected by Chippewa fans as the 2009-10 CMU Highlight of the Year.

Aguila's field goal was an overwhelming winner, receiving nearly three-quarters of the vote total.

CMU scored nine points in the game's final 32 seconds to rally for the 29-27 win at Michigan State in September. Dan LeFevour threw an 11-yard touchdown pass with 32 seconds left to draw the Chippewas within 27-26, but a two-point conversion pass to Antonio Brown sailed out of bounds.

Aguila perfectly converted an onside-kick that was recovered by Bryan Anderson, and four plays later Aguila drove home the game-winner.

Three seconds remained on the clock after the field goal, but Aguila drilled the ensuing kickoff off the back of a Michigan State player and the clock ticked to zero.

The victory was CMU's third all-time against Michigan State and second straight against a Big Ten opponent.
