MOUNT PLEASANT — Central Michigan senior Stefanie Turner has been named this week's Members First Credit Union Scholar-Athlete of the Week.
Turner recorded a career-high 10 saves Monday afternoon versus Marquette to help the Chippewas earn a 0-0 double-overtime draw with the No. 12 Golden Eagles. The shutout was the second of Turner's season and seventh of her career, placing her one shy of moving into a tie for third place all-time in program history.
A native of Livonia, Mich., Turner boasts a 3.85 grade point average as a Biology/Biomedical Sciences major.
