Jeff Carrico joined Central Michigan University as an associate athletic trainer in August, 2017 and works primarily with men’s basketball and cheerleading.
Carrico previously served as the assistant director of sports medicine at DePaul University from 2012-17. At DePaul, he was a member of the BIG EAST Sports Medicine Society, serving as president from 2014-17. He simultaneously served on the BIG EAST Health and Safety Committee.
Carrico spent five years as the assistant athletics director for sports medicine at the University of Cincinnati, where he worked with the men’s basketball and golf programs.
Prior to arriving at Cincinnati, Carrico spent 10 years at Marshall University and is a member of that institution’s Sports Medicine Hall of Fame. He began is athletic training career in 1994 at Northern Illinois University.
Carrico is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association and participating member of the College Athletic Trainer’s Society. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Eastern Kentucky University and completed his master’s degree in sports management at Northern Illinois.
