Kristen Jackson joined Central Michigan University as an assistant athletic trainer in 2015, working primarily with softball. Currently, she works gymnastics and has served as a trainer with both the volleyball and football programs.
Prior to coming to CMU, Jackson worked for one year at Bradley University, where she served as the athletic trainer for women's basketball, women's cross country and track teams.
Jackson earned her bachelor's degree in athletic training in 2011 from Bowling Green State. She also competed for two years on the Falcon swimming and diving team, competing in backstroke and freestyle.
She worked as a graduate assistant at Indiana, working with women's water polo and men's and women's swimming and diving. She earned her master's in athletic training in 2014.
Jackson holds certifications in Graston Soft Tissue Mobilization as well as Kinesio Taping KT1 and KT2. She is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association, Great Lakes Athletic Trainers Association, and the Michigan Athletic Trainers Association.
She lives in Mount Pleasant with her husband, Robert.
