MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Karli Herrington has announced her intention to transfer from the Central Michigan women’s basketball program.

Herrington, a 6-foot-2 sophomore from Hemlock, Mich., logged 53 minutes while appearing in 13 games last season. As a freshman in 2014-15, she appeared in 17 games, averaging 1.1 points and 1.6 rebounds.

Herrington was a member of a Chippewa squad that won the Mid-American Conference West Division title and finished runner-up in the MAC Tournament in 2015-16.

“We thank Karli for what she’s done for us, for her contributions to the program, the last couple of years,” CMU coach Sue Guevara said. “She’s done a nice job in the classroom and we wish her well.”
