STOCKBRIDGE, Ga. - Holly Hines shot an 8-over-par 80 Monday to lead the Central Michigan women's golf team in the second round of the John Kirk Panther Intercollegiate at Eagle's Landing Country Club.

The Chipppewas shot a 330 team total - a 15-shot improvement over their opening round score - on Monday and stand in 15th place with a 675 total. They trail 14th-place Louisiana Monroe by 25 shots.

Hines, who shot 90 in Sunday's opening round, has a 170 total.

Also for CMU on Monday, Bria Colosky shot 82, Hannah Matthies shot 83, Natalie Johnson carded an 85, and Kristen Wolfe posted an 89.

Colosky, who shot 83 to lead CMU on Sunday, has a 165 total, which ties her for 69th place in the 84-player field. Johnson is at 169.

Tournament-leader Martina Edberg of Call State-Fullerton shot a 2-under 70 on Monday and stands at 2-under, one shot ahead of Elon's Kelsey Badmaev.

Elon posted a 297 team score on Monday and leads the tournament with a 590, six shots better than runner-up Western Michigan.

The 54-hole event, which is hosted by Georgia State, concludes on Tuesday.
