BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Central Michigan golf team shot a 337 total on Saturday and stands in 14th place in the 16-team Bowling Green State Dolores Black Falcon Invitational at Stone Ridge Golf Club.
The second and final round of the 36-hole event is scheduled for Sunday.
Freshman Jami Laude shot a 10-over par 82 to lead the Chippewas. She is among a group tied for 52nd in the 99-player field.
Also for CMU, Bria Colosky shot 84, Kristen Wolfe shot 85, Natalie Johnson carded an 86, and Meghan Deardorff shot 87. CMU's Holly Hines, playing as an individual, shot 86.
The Chippewas stand five shots behind 13th-place Western Michigan and six behind 12th-place Youngstown State.
Toledo's Pinyada Kuvanun shot an even-par 72 and holds a two-shot lead over Ball State's Sydney Anderson.
Toledo posted a first-round 304 team total and leads the tournament by two shots over Indianapolis and Ball State. Eastern Michigan (308) is fourth.
