CMU Closes Fall Golf Season at Toledo

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - The Central Michigan women's golf team will play its final fall tournament Monday and Tuesday when it partakes in the Rocket Classic, hosted by Toledo.

The Chippewas will join 12 teams in the two-day, 36-hole event, scheduled for Catawba Island Club in Port Clintion, Ohio. The course plays to par 72 over 5,884 yards.

Also scheduled to join the Chippewas and host Toledo are Akron, Bowling Green, Western Michigan, Bucknell, Cleveland State, Detroit, Indiana-Purdue-Indianapolis, Loyola (Ill.), Valparaiso and Western Illinois.
