CMU defeated Robert Morris, 4-0, on Friday in its home opener. It was CMU's first win of the season.
Weik directs the program's internal affairs which includes overseeing budgets, coordinating travel, and acting as a liaison with compliance, academics and facilities. She also serves as the Director of the Chippewa Soccer Academy and the CMU SoccerFest Youth Tournament Director.
Weik played under McGahey at Minnesota State Mankato from 2009-12, serving as a two-time team co-captain. She was a part of three trips to the NCAA Women's Soccer Tournament, two NCAA Sweet Sixteen appearances and one Elite 8 appearance.
Her coaching resumé consists of stints as an assistant with United States Youth Soccer in Minnesota and the head soccer coach for the Woodbury Soccer Club, a competitive U-11 and U-13 girls soccer program. She also served as a graduate assistant at Minnesota State in 2013-14.
Weik graduated magna cum laude from Minnesota State with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Sports Medicine and received her Master of Arts in Sport Administration from Central Michigan in May 2017.
Weik possesses her MYSA E Coaching License and NSCAA National Diploma.
