Cassie Weik joined Peter McGahey's staff as an assistant coach in August 2014.
Weik directs the program's internal affairs which includes overseeing budgets, coordinating travel, and acting as a liaison with compliance, academics and facilities. She also serves as the Director of the Chippewa Soccer Academy.
Weik played under McGahey at Minnesota State Mankato from 2009-12, serving as a two-time team co-captain. Her coaching resumé consists of stints as an assistant with United States Youth Soccer in Minnesota and the head soccer coach for the Woodbury Soccer Club, a competitive U-11 and U-13 girls soccer program. She also served as a graduate assistant at Minnesota State in 2013-14.
Weik, who is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Sport Administration at CMU, graduated magna cum laude from Minnesota State with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science with a minor in Sports Medicine.
