MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. –Central Michigan soccer coach Peter McGahey announced today that he has added Devyn Brough to the Chippewa roster.

Brough, a Michigan native who plays midfielder, is a transfer from Auburn. She will be a sophomore and will be immediately eligible for the 2017 season.

“When you have the opportunity to add a transfer with her experience, it helps to continue to evolve your roster, which I think is really important,” said McGahey, who is entering his fifth season in charge of the program. “As a person and as a player, Devyn brings the playing characteristics to fit our style, but most importantly, her character and personality are representative of what we want Chippewa soccer to stand for.”

Brough played at Walled Lake Northern High School and played club soccer with the Michigan Jaguars. She logged 73 minutes in 11 games last season with Auburn, which finished 17-7 and reached the Elite Eight round of the Women’s College Cup.
