MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - The Central Michigan volleyball program is excited to announce the release of the 2017 summer camp series. The Chippewas are hosting a variety of affordable camps for all ages, positions, and skill levels. Campers will have an opportunity to work directly with the CMU volleyball program’s coaches and current student-athletes, as well as receive first hand experience training like the Chippewa volleyball team.
CMU volleyball will hold a variety of camps on our beautiful campus this summer, starting with All-Skills Overnight Camp on July 6-8. Campers will focus on all skills of volleyball throughout 3 days of training and competition. Our specialty skills camps will round out the on campus series on July 13 and 14, which will include passing, serving, defense, setting, blocking, and attacking camps. These camps are perfect for the camper looking to focus solely on skill development. Camps are open to all entrants entering grades 6-12.
CMU volleyball has three satellite camps confirmed that will be hosted at Alpena High School, Onekama Consolidated School, and the West Michigan Aviation Academy. There are high school and middle school camps available for these all-skills camps. Our satellite camps provide the CMU camp experience closer to your home, and are open to all entrants. If you’re interested in having CMU come to your hometown – contact Krista Rice at firstname.lastname@example.org, as we are still narrowing in on our final site-camp locations.
