MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. -- Central Michigan senior volleyball player Jordan Bueter has been named the Mid-American Conference West Division Offensive Player of the Week.

Bueter leads the MAC in both kills and kills per set (4.91).
It marks the third consecutive week that a CMU player has earned the MAC West Offensive Player of the Week Award. Senior middle blocker Paige Carey received this accolade when CMU opened the season by going 3-0 in the Army Invitational.
Central Michigan is 7-2 to start out the 2017 campaign. The Chippewas are scheduled to travel to Notre Dame, Ind. to take on Southern Illinois, Michigan State and Notre Dame in the Shamrock Invitational this weekend.
